Mais um momento de celebração do Cante no Festival Islâmico de Mértola, desta vez, com um grupo já assíduo nestas andanças do festival, o grupo musical de cante Os Alentejanos. Sediado em Serpa este grupo é constituído por Hugo Baletas na voz, Fernando Baletas no baixo acústico e voz, Armando Torrão na viola e voz e João Cataluna no acordeão e voz.
